Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or have low vision. We've designed this site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA in mind. We haven't commissioned a formal third-party audit yet, so we're describing this as a good-faith effort rather than a certified conformance claim — if you run into something that doesn't work for you, we want to know.
What we've built in
- Keyboard navigation: every link, button, form field, and menu on this site can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline so you can always see where you are.
- Skip link: a "Skip to content" link appears for keyboard users at the top of every page, letting you bypass the navigation menu.
- Color contrast: text and background colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and interactive elements), not just chosen by eye.
- Touch targets: buttons, checkboxes, and links are sized to at least 44×44 pixels so they're easier to tap accurately on a touchscreen.
- Alt text: meaningful images (like our logo) have descriptive alt text; purely decorative icons are hidden from screen readers so they don't add noise.
- Form labels & errors: every form field has a properly associated label, and validation errors are announced in plain language rather than relying on color alone.
- Responsive design: the site works at any zoom level and screen size, from a phone to a large desktop monitor, without content being cut off or overlapping.
- Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, this site's animations are automatically turned off.
- Semantic structure: headings, landmarks, and page structure follow a logical order so screen readers can navigate the page the way it visually reads.
Known limitations
We haven't run a full audit with assistive technology users yet, so there are likely rough edges we haven't found. We're committed to fixing issues as they're reported rather than claiming perfection we haven't verified.
